Wow – what a weekend! Fresh (as possible) from the biggest event this year at London’s VegFestUK we’re taking stock of a great weekend of chatting, networking, discovery and food glorious food.
VegFest UK organise Europe’s biggest veggie events from Brighton to Bristol and of course London. The 2014 show was the second London show at the fabulous Olympia in Kensington and we were delighted to be a part of it.
With an estimated 10,000 visiting each day, we knew we were in for a busy one – but nothing really prepared us for the amazing weekend ahead.
We arrived on Friday to set up our Pudology stand and get everything in place including a huge fridge full of desserts. The atmosphere was electric as all the suppliers and stall holders set the Olympia alive with the hum of activity and excitement.
Saturday soon came around and VegFest London was opened at 10am to the huge queues outside. This is an amazing event and it gets enormous support and love from the veggie and vegan community. We’re always blown away by the passion and enthusiasm of the veggie and vegan community and VegFestLondon gets us right in front of them – scary thought?!

We were of course keen to prove (along with many other stalls) that diet choices don’t mean dull, uninspiring foods. We had our full range of desserts on board including our new Millionaires’ Puds and the feedback we got from visitors and tweeters was phenomenal.
We were tasting and selling our gluten and dairy-free desserts which are made without eggs so suitable for vegans too. Now that we have a brand new nut-free kitchen we were also telling anyone who’d listen that we’re suitable for people with nut allergies too.
We were visited by young and old at the show – and we got some very cute young tasters along to try out our chocolate, banoffee and Millionaires’ Pud.
The feedback was incredible and we loved hearing on Twitter that our desserts didn’t make it out of London alive. They were simply too much of a temptation and plenty were devoured on the train – love it!
Sunday was the busiest day for us with another estimated 10,000 eager veggies and vegans released into the Olympia areana from 10am. With more talks, demonstrations and of course amazing food on show, they were all treated to an amazing day in London.
We were so busy at one point that we had to send a cry for help for more supplies. We managed to run short of tasting spoons (which was a great sign considering how many we took) but the amazing Jollyum came to the rescue with more spoons to keep us tasting. It’s amazing what people will do for you when you have a fridge full of desserts!
@Pudology not at all! Would that earn me another spoonful of your delicious banoffee by any chance? X

The feeling in the Olympia was amazing and to say that we’re still on a high is an understatement. Thank you to everyone who came along to the VegFestLondon event and thank you to our army of veggie and vegan fans for showing up, for tasting, for buying and for sharing it all on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Thank you everyone for a fabulous weekend at #VegFestLondon!
We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and we’re still buzzing in the Pudology kitchen. It was great to see you all and a big well done to VegFest UK for another amazing event. What progress since 2004. We’ll certainly be aiming to exhibit at VegFestLondon 2015 if you’ll have us back?
